Eight Months

This is my last post until I can successfully say I'm caught up, so I'm just going to simply let the pictures speak for themselves. I still can't believe how fast the last few months have gone nor how much our love for this little boy continues to grow.

Christmas Day 2009

These are just for you daddy, me missed having you here to share this special holiday season with us. We are eagerly looking forward to spending next year with you here with us. We hope you all had a very special holiday season as we know we did.

Look! I can now stand up on my own.

Sporting my new hat to keep my head toasty!

I think I like playing with everyone else's gifts just as much.

Trigger also found some nice new toys under the tree.

Playing ball with Grandpa.

Wow all that excitement just wears a little boy right out.

Huh, what is this that Grandpa is giving me?

Playing with cousin McKay.

Wait more presents.

Hayden also received his first tooth brush for Christmas and he absolutely loves using everyday.

Christmas Eve

This year for Christmas Eve we tried something new by volunteering to light candles at the Wallsburg Cemetery.  After lighting candles we returned to the house where we had homemade soup and made brownies for Santa.  Then we opened up our Christmas pjs, read of Christs birth from the scriptures, then ended the night with the classic reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas before heading off to bed.

All bundled up after light candles.

My first present from mom and dad.

Ummm, you think Santa will mind if I sample these brownies?

The Holiday Season

A few weeks before Christmas we attended the Festival of Trees in Salt Lake with Brady and Morgan.  We also went to see Temple Square with the Holmes family to check out the Christmas Lights.  Hayden loved seeing all the trees and lights and did great rolling around in his stroller.  Now he probably could have done without the freezing cold weather at temple square.
