Coronado/San Digeo

We recently were able to head out to California for a week while Grandpa went to an Endodontics convention.  We spent some time at the beach, it was a little to cool to get in the water but we enjoyed the sun.  Another day we went to the Wild Animal Park which was really fun.  Hayden loved seeing all the animals but, the giraffe's were by far his favorite.  We also rented bikes to ride around the island, Hayden loved riding around in the little bike carrier and fell asleep every time within minutes of starting out.  We had a great vacation and only wish that daddy could have joined us.

Great Grandparents!

Hayden and I recently had the opportunity to visit Preston's grandparents for a few days along with his mom.  We had such a fun time just relaxing and eating some awesome food.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a great few days.

Ten/Eleven Months

Well sorry for no monthly update last month.  Here's one last time for our monthly update before our little guy turns 1, yikes!  I thought for sure Hayden would be walking by now as he's been pulling him self up for a while and walking along the furniture.  Who knows I should probably be counting my blessings that he hasn't yet as I'm just now finishing putting locks on everything.  Hayden's current favorite thing to do is make as much noise as possible banging different things together, usually it's the empty pie tins.  He also loves putting his eggs in the basket on his farm and then dancing to the music it plays.


TEN MONTHS:

Nine Months

     First I want to start of saying how impressed I am with myself for once getting this post up relatively on time.  So what I thought would be an extremely long month with the holidays being over, has yet again flown by.  We are so grateful for this blessing as it brings us one month closer to being with Preston again, and a quarter of the way done.  The sad part is that as I write this I can't believe how big my little boy is getting and that he is now 9 months old!  What happened to the time.  He growing like a weed and is now weighing in at 18.5 lbs and 28 inches.
     This month Hayden has turned in to a busy body who can't seem to hold still for more than a few seconds.  He is crawling around all over and has even managed to make it up the stairs a few times with no tumbles.  He's also added a few more teeth and now has a total of 4 peeking through.  He shrieks with laughter whenever someone will play peek-a-boo with him, especially Grandpa.  Hayden has also learned how to open the cupboard doors and pull anything within reach strait out onto the floor.  He's turning into quite the handful and I wouldn't change it for the world.
