Week 4 / 1 Month

All warm and snug after my first bath.

Daddy's such a pro.

Wow, I can't hardly believe my little guy is already a month old. Boy how time flies when you're adjusting to life with a newborn. As I was trying to make up my mind on what pictures to post to highlight our week I happened to look at pictures of Hayden's birth. I was shocked and I have to admit a little saddened over how much he's changed already. He's quickly growing out of all of his newborn clothes and moving on to 0-3 months. Late last week we also gave Hayden his first real bath in the bath tub. He absolutely loves the tub, smiling and cooing the whole time. I can't wait until he's older and actually starts splashing around. Then on Memorial day Preston gave Hayden had his first feeding from a bottle. I'm happy to say they both passed through it with flying colors. which he took like a pro. Hayden also slept last night for his first full5 hour stretch (I was super excited for this milestone.) Now we'll see if we can make it more of a regular event.

This week Grandpa and Grandma Dean came to visit for a few days. They absolutely loved meeting Hayden for the first time and spent many hours cuddling and playing with him. We also had our first week with dad working all week and are happy to report that we made it through.

Week 2

I was trying to post earlier in the week when I discover my camera with all the recent pictures on it had disappeared. Come to find out Preston had taken it to work and left it there. So, we're a few days late getting these pictures up. What to say about Hayden's 2nd week home: We had one last day with Rhianne's parents and we choose to spend it with a quick trip out to Tybee Island and exploring River Street. We decided the beach was the perfect place for our first family picture, now if the wind wouldn't have been so strong it might have turned out a little better but, oh well. We also tried going to a restaurant with Hayden for the first time, he was so good and slept through all of dinner. We we're sad to see the grandparents leave but, are looking forward to having Preston's parents come visit us next week.

Finally Some More Pictures

After many requests I have finally found a few minutes to get some more pictures up. We've spent most of Hayden's few days home now just adjusting to our new family life. Hayden got to meet and spend time with some of his grandparents, who came to visit and meet their first grandchild. All in all we can't get enough of our little boy and are excited to have him here.
